Drinks, Dishes, Dancing and Silent Auction: C-CAP Benefit

Join HIC, Harold Import Co., March 6th, 6:30pm – 9:00pm at the annual Culinary Futures event benefiting C-CAP Chicago.

The event, held at Ovation Chicago, we will celebrate and support Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Chicago. Guests will enjoy dishes prepared and served by C-CAP students from local Chicago High Schools. A selection of fine wines and locally crafted beers will also be available. The evening’s festivities include a silent auction and music by Chicago’s premier DJ Sean Alvarez.

Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will benefit Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Chicago. C-CAP is a national non-profit organization that works with public schools to prepare at-risk students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry. The Chicago area Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) held it’s annual Cooking Competition for Scholarships, on Saturday, April 5th, 2014. This event is the culmination of the C-CAP high school program for underserved teenagers at risk of leaving high school without job or college prospects. The C-CAP program offers direction, a set of useful skills, scholarships and the potential for a fulfilling career in a growing industry. Scholarship dollars are raised in part, by Culinary Futures Events, (learn more here) proudly sponsored by Harold Import Co., Chicago Public Schools, Aramark, Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois, DKB, Talisman Designs, and Fletcher’s Mill.
